A similar storm in a tea-cup has formed around Spain's Alhambra which has so far attracted less that 3% of the vote, putting it in 13th position and therefore out of the top 7. Three possible explanations come to mind for the poor showing: Spanish people, like the Chinese, can't handle a website in English (and dont see the little Spanish flag to switch Spanish); they balk at paying €1.20 to vote by SMS; they have better things to do with their time.
