What do Chinese internet users look for on the internet, and how does it differ from the English speaking world?

The Chinese-language blog Lookin' for IT, seen via the China Digital Times, offered interesting insight into this question. A quick glance might suggest that Chinese internet users are interested in making money, beauty and a little romance, while Westerners want to know about illness, romance and technology.
