Strickland endorses Clinton

Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland endorsed Hillary Clinton Friday - good news for Clinton as she tries to turn back the "electability" issues her Democratic rivals continue to bring up.

Why? Ohio is a swing state. Not just any swing state, but the swing state: A 60,000-vote swing there would have delivered the White House to John Kerry in 2004.

Clinton aides crow that if the governor of the swingingest state in the country has no qualms about Clinton's electability, then that shows it's not a big issue.
