Soory, Matt, but that does not qualify as a Malapropism. Perhaps if she had said Obama has come to the American people not as a vixen, but rather as a leader. That wold be a Malapropism.

It's just how white folks are.

Please people, get a life! The Senator has a valid point. I as well as all Americans should be grateful for the efforts of the heroic men you name. However, it is clear to me that many post-1960 well educated African-Americans are acting with a much needed sense of their entitlement to opportunity, as they should. Senator Obama is only one of many. To name a few: DuVal Patrick, Artur Davis, Harold Ford, Lester Holt (NBC),Tiger Woods, etc.

As soon as America's major universities come to realize that there are African-American scholars living in the same neighborhoods where they recruit athletic talent, and begin to act responsibly, the number of "Baracks" will be much, much greater.
