Clinton's back on the trail
Hillary Clinton will keep fighting...at least, officially.
Her Wednesday public schedule was blank as of midnight, and she cancelled appearances on the morning talk shows.
But she's not going to stay away from the campaign trail long--early Wednesday her campaign announced she'd head for a noon apperance at Shepherd University in West Virginia, where she'll discuss the economy. The state will hold the campaign's next primary, on Tuesday.
Then Clinton's off to Washington, where she'll attend a women's fundraising event, before heading back to Charleston, W.Va., Thursday.
She won Indiana by 2 percentage points Tuesday, while losing to Illinois Sen. Barack Obama in North Carolina by 14.
How can Hillary continue to claim that she represents the "average" American? She has the personal means to loan her campaign $6.4 million. That's 128 years worth of income for the "common" American family. At this point she'd do more good loaning that money to families who can't afford their mortgages and gas - that would help a lot more than four more weeks of campaign rhetoric and sensationalist promises on how to help these people.
