Obama leads in 3 big swing states
A new Quinnipiac University poll Wednesday morning shows Democrat Barack Obama leading Republican John McCain in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Obama's up by 4 in Florida, by 6 in Ohio and by 12 in Pennsylvania--largely because of strong backing from women, blacks and young voters. It's the first time Obama's led in all three states.
McCain still runs about even with Obama among men, and in Florida and Ohio, the Republican wins among white voters.
But in both states, Obama has more than 90 percent of the black vote.
In the three states, Obama leads McCain 10 to 23 percentage points among women, while men are too close to call. The Democrat trails among white voters in Florida and Ohio, but gets more than 90 percent of black voters in each state. He also has double-digit leads among young voters in each state.
The poll also asked whether Obama's chief rival for his party's nomination, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, should be on the ticket. Sure, Democrats said--but independents were wary.
In Florida, for instance, Democrats said by a 57-33 percent margin Clinton should be Obama's running mate--but independents were against the idea, 46-37 percent, but independents said no by 47-31 percent.

Poll analyst Peter Brown said the figures should serve as a warning to Obama.
“If Sen. Obama seriously is thinking about picking Sen. Clinton as his running mate, these numbers might cause him to reconsider. The people who really matter come November – independent voters – turn thumbs down on the idea. And, many say they are less likely to vote for him if he puts her on the ticket,” Brown said.
The survey was conducted from June 9 to 16. The logistics: 1,453 Florida likely voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.6 percent; 1,396 Ohio likely voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.6 percent, and 1,511 Pennsylvania likely voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.5 percent.

NO, what we need is for John Mccain to join Petraues in Iraq since that seems to be the only thing he can speak of with any knowledge, because i dont trust his economic plan or potential.
