Forget veep, Huckabee heads for joke contest
Mike Huckabee might have failed to win the Republican presidential nomination. He might not make it as McCain's vice presidential running mate either.
But fear not. You'll still get a chance to laugh at him.
Huckabee will be among the contestants at the 15th annual Funniest Celebrity in Washington Contest at the DC Improv on Sept. 10.
Other contestants announced today include:
-Bob Barr, the Libertarian presidential candidate;
-Rep. Brad Sherman, D-Ca.;
-Jim Bohannon, a talk show host;
-Michele Bernard, president of the Independent Women's Forum;
-Dan Glickman, president of the Motion Picture Association of America;
-David Schuster of MSNBC;
-Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform;
-Jamie McIntyre of CNN;
-Riz Khan, a radio host on Al JAzeera.
