A new poll by John Zogby shows a majority of likely voters - 55 percent - want Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr included in this fall's three presidential debates.
The poll shows the voters less warm toward independent candidate Ralph Nader - 46 percent sau she also should be on the stage for the three debates.
The sentiment is nice. But it's not enough.
The bi-partisan Commission on Presidential Debates uses a different poll question to determine who gets in. It says only those candidates with the support of 15 percent of likely voters get onto the debate stage.
And while Barr and Nader get solid support for the idea of them being in the debate, neither gets that kind of support for the actual election. At least not yet.
