Today was a sad day; our staff lost another member who left this morning. Every one else is new for me and another colleague of mine. The new guys are great and wonderful persons but it is so hard to make new friends over and over.
I looked up my phone list, name by name, some were killed, others are missing, many left the country and few are still here in one piece. It makes me frustrated cause I know for a fact we will not see each other again. Even if they come back who says i will be alive to see them again.
i think it is about time to say I have had enough, I will not make any new friends that will be killed, kidnapped or leave the country.
To all my friends; those who are still here, who left, missing or killed: No one will take your place ...

Jay Randal, ray bresnan, Bluedahlia, Robert Duke, Maddy, Donna and kdoering… thanks for your comments, all of you.
Day after day, after reading your comments, you prove to us how wonderful people you are..

Let us review the 1648 Treaty of Northrhein Westphalia which ended the 30 years war between Catholic and Protestant states in Europe. Let us translate that into Arabic and present it to all parties in the conflict and all the neighbours of Iraq.
The Peace of Northrhine Westphalia establishes that a religious conflict can be mediated and brought to a standstill.
I pray for everybody in Iraq.
Allahim Salaam. (May the Peace of God be with you.)

Let us go for Gore in 08. By opening alternative energy solutions like internal and external combustion steam ignition, we will not have to fight wars for oil.

It makes me sad to hear how much pain and loss you are suffering in Iraq, along with so many other courageous young Americans. Know that I (and many of your fellow Americans) care deeply and are doing everything we can to bring you back home and to make sure you have everything you need (equipment, training, support) while you are still there. Hang on, we have your back. In the meantime, please pray for our country. There is a battlefront here at home, too. It is a battle for the soul of our great country. I believe the tide has turned, but it takes time for a big ship like the U.S. to come about. Pray that it will be soon and that we will all find our way home again, safely. We all have a lot of healing to do. God speed.

"hang on soldiers help is on the way"
not sure if the irony here was intentional or not... but all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put baghdad back together again.

Your message is important and I want you to know that even some of us Americans are paying attention and trying to hear the truth from brave people like you. I can only hope that some day your country will be safe again for yourself and your loved ones.
