Dulaimy, you are a good person. You did a lot for that taxi driver just to listen. Sometimes, that's all you can do.

Hi Dulaimy. Have you looked into No More Victims? They're reachable at nomorevictims.org. This is a nonprofit organization that brings Iraqi children to the U.S. for treatment by volunteer doctors. (And, for those who can donate, they are seeking donations for same).

I wonder, too, if there is a reader of this blog out there who might have the time/skills/interest to websearch resources in and out of Iraq for you......anyone up for this?
